Hi everyone! Thank you again for praying for me! Also thank you to those who have left posts, it really encourages
me when I read them! I am doing a little better. I haven't been able to cut down yet on my medication. Today I tried to just go 10 minutes longer and it felt like someone was trying to crush my chest! I can't do anything except sit in this recliner all day. It is really sore where my drains are, so I am hoping that those can come out soon! I go to see my doctor tomorrow. Craig's sister is coming in tonight to help out for a couple of days, so that will be nice! It was very nice of her to fly in and help out! Craig's Dad has had some health problems, so please pray for him also. Also for my Dad. It was very rough those first two days in the hospital! I am so thankful that God was with me and brought me through and that my Mom was able to stay with me! Craig has been working so hard taking care of the kids, the animals and cleaning the house! I don't know what I would do without him! He is trully the best husband anyone could ever have! I thank God for him everyday!

I'm so glad that Craig's sister will be there to help out. It amazes me that through all this you're thinking about others. We'll keep praying for your dad and Craig's day. Still praying for you sweetie trusting God to hold you with His strong right arm. Cathy
ReplyDeleteSo good to hear from you! Just remember, it is your job right now to sit and rest and do nothing! And don't try to get off the pain meds sooner than you can - I don't think you get points for getting off of them early!? You sound in good spirits and I am glad you have had some extra hands around! We'll keep praying! Love ya!
ReplyDeleteI so agree with Rita. Sit, rest, do nothing (how often do we moms have permission to do that?) Stay with the meds as long as you need them. When Craig's sister leaves and you need more help, don't be shy about asking for it you've got a network of people that can all pitch in (myself included).
ReplyDeleteHusbands are truly a gift from God and it sounds like Craig is no exception. I remember when I had my hysterectomy a few years back and was laid up for awhile. After my mom went back home, Clark took care of everything, and did it with grace and love.
I am so glad to hear you are well enough to be home! I will also agree with Rita on resting and taking your pain meds. Your doctor is giving them to you for a reason and you should make sure you are comfortable enough to heal correctly.
